Robert Fishbourne Dip. C.H., C.H.C., G.Q.H.P. Registered Hypnotherapist (GHR) ~ N.L.P. practitionerYou would like to make some changes and you may have consciously tried and tried, but just can't. The reason for this is simple, the conscious mind is often just not powerful enough to do what is required, when it is required. The conscious mind thinks it's responsible for all thoughts and behaviours; thinks it's in charge of everything that the mind / body does, but in reality the unconscious systems are in charge of most things. With hypnosis we tap into real power to create changes in our lives, healing what needs to be healed, preserve or retrieve learnings from the past and make neurological connections to manifest a huge range of benificial improvements. Life is made up of things that happen to us from the outside, called input. Combined with the way we react to that input, the inner belief system we consequently develop is called our programming. Through hypnosis that programming can be changed to alter the output and transform our lives. There are many things we are conscious of, but the operation and health of the body is optimally a function of our Unconscious Minds. Hypnosis allows us to reach the Unconscious Mind and utilise the mind/body connection to facilitate healing, resolve problems and concerns and enhance personal developement. The Unconscious Mind is a servo-mechanism, so constructed that it automatically 'steers' its way to a goal. By its very nature it seeks success for whatever it is ordered to do; that's its purpose. The conscious mind means well but can go very much awry, fortunately the Unconscious Mind always protects the conscious mind. Hypnosis allows this beneficial caring to occur, creating harmony and balance between left-brain and right-brain. "People who are in rapport with their Unconscious Minds are also in control of their destinies" ( Milton Erickson ) Are people stuck with their habits and problems, helpless victims of circumstances entirely beyond their control ? Absolutely not. Make those changes. Allow yourself to be as good as You know you really are. |
